     Anthony Walter Bacon was born on 10 March 1902.1 He was the son of Thomas Walter Bacon and Edith Mary Leslie-Melville.1 He married Lola Mary Stanley Martin, daughter of Charles Stanley Martin, on 9 January 1941.1 He died on 30 July 1999 at age 97.1
     Anthony Walter Bacon was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1923 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the service of the Auxiliary Air Force.1
