Richard Castell Bacon was born on 20 February 1866.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Hickman Bacon, 10th and 11th Bt. and Elizabeth Beckett.1 He died on 12 January 1961 at age 94, unmarried.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1888 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Defence Corps.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1893 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry Cavalry.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1914.1

Sir Charles Burton Barrington, 5th Bt. was born in 1848.2 He was the son of Sir Croker Barrington, 4th Bt. and Anna Felicia West.3 He married Mary Rose Bacon, daughter of Sir Henry Hickman Bacon, 10th and 11th Bt. and Elizabeth Beckett, on 14 February 1895.1 He died on 12 August 1943.2
He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Limerick in 1879.2 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Barrington, of the City of Limerick [U.K., 1831] on 4 July 1890.2 He gained the rank of honorary Colonel in the service of the Limerick City Royal Filed Reserve Artillery, South Division.2 He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1919.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Limerick.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Limerick.2
