Sir Mathew Amcotts Wilson, 3rd Bt. was born on 2 January 1853. He was the son of Sir Mathew Wharton Wilson, 2nd Bt. and Gratiana Mary (?).1 He married Georgina Mary Lee, daughter of Richard Thomas Lee, on 8 October 1874. He died on 18 January 1914 at age 61.
