     Ninian Barclay of Pierston was the son of David Barclay of Pierston.1 He married Agnes Bruce.1 He died before 11 April 1502.1

     In 1442 he held part of the territorial Barony of Kellie, Forfar, in right of his wife.1 In 1443 he held part of the territorial Barony of Nether Pierston, in right of his wife.1
