     Henry Thomas de Rune Barclay was born on 5 October 1849.1 He was the son of Sir David William Barclay of Pierston, 10th Bt. and Elise Josephe de Rune.1 He married Ellen Eliza Henley, daughter of Thomas Frederick Henley, on 28 October 1878.1 He died on 16 September 1921 at age 71.1
     Henry Thomas de Rune Barclay was in the Colonial Service, in British Guiana.1

     Leslie George de Rune Barclay fought in the Boer War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Ulster Rifles.1 He fought in the First World War.1
