     Captain Philip Cecil Langdon Yorke was born on 23 July 1903.3 He was the son of James Charles Yorke and Katharine Ellen Langdon.2 He married, firstly, Elsie Margaret Davis, daughter of Frank Davis, on 22 April 1936.3 He married, secondly, Violet Helen Trew, daughter of Charles Ormonde Trew, on 23 July 1946.3 He and Violet Helen Trew were divorced in 1960.3 He married, thirdly, Margaret Rose Rubenstein, daughter of A. Rubenstein, on 18 August 1961.3 He died on 19 January 1970 at age 66.3
     Captain Philip Cecil Langdon Yorke fought in the Second World War.4 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.3 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1941.3
