     Frances Wallace-Dunlop was born on 24 December 1761.2 She was the daughter of John Dunlop, 19th of that Ilk and Frances Anna Wallace.1,2 She married Robert Vans Agnew of Barnbarroch and Sheuchan, son of John Vans Agnew of Barnbarroch and Margaret Agnew, on 24 February 1777 at Barnbarroch, Wigtownshire, Scotland.1,2 She died in 1848 at Newton Stewart, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.2
     From 24 February 1777, her married name became Vans Agnew.1
