     Patrick Alexander Vans of Baronbarroch was born on 14 February 1924.1 He was the son of Patrick Alexander Vans Agnew and Marian Fell.1 He married Barbara de Grey, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Nigel de Grey and Florence Emily Frances Gore, on 5 October 1946.1 He died on 8 August 1998 at age 74.1
     Patrick Alexander Vans of Baronbarroch was baptised with the name of Patrick Alexander Vans Agnew.1 He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was recognised by the Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Office on 14 July 1965.1
