     Sir Nicholas Barnewall was the son of Sir Christopher Barnewall and Matilda Drake.1 He married Ismay Serjeant, daughter of Sir Robert Serjeant.1
     Sir Nicholas Barnewall lived at Crickstown, County Meath, Ireland.1 He held the office of Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas [Ireland] in 1461.1
