     Mary Levinge is the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Richard Levinge, 1st Bt..2 She married Sir Washington Shirley, 2nd Earl Ferrers, son of Sir Robert Shirley, 1st Earl Ferrers and Elizabeth Washington.1
     Her married name became Shirley. As a result of her marriage, Mary Levinge was styled as Countess Ferrers on 25 July 1717.
