     Sir Robert Barnham, 1st Bt. was born circa 1606.1 He was the son of Sir Francis Barnham and Elizabeth Lennard.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Henley, daughter of Robert Henley, before 1636.1 He and Hannah Nichols obtained a marriage license on 18 August 1663.1 He died between May 1685 and June 1685, without surviving male issue.1 His will (dated 27 April 1685) was probated on 11 June 1685.1
     Sir Robert Barnham, 1st Bt. held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Maidstone in 1660.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Maidstone between 1661 and 1679.1 He lived at Boughton Monchelsea, Kent, England.1 He was created 1st Baronet Barnham, of Boughton Munchensye, co. Kent [England] on 15 August 1663.1
     On his death, his baronetcy probably became extinct.1
