     Robert Dudley Bartlett was born on 8 October 1880.1 He was the son of Sir Herbert Henry Bartlett, 1st Bt. and Ada Charlotte Barr.1 He married, firstly, Maud Violet Martin, daughter of George Joseph Martin, on 14 January 1906.1 He married, secondly, Yvonne Mignon Simons, daughter of Charles Edward Simons, on 17 December 1931.1 He died on 18 November 1963 at age 83.1
     Robert Dudley Bartlett gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.1
