     George Puxley Duntze, 5th Bt. was born on 6 December 1873 at South Africa.1 He was the son of Sir George Duntze, 4th Bt. and Harriet Elizabeth Isabella Thomas.1 He married Violet May Sanderson on 16 June 1908.1 He died on 20 May 1947 at age 73.1
     George Puxley Duntze, 5th Bt. succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Duntze on 2 May 1922.2
