     S/Ldr. Hon. Felix Hugh Lawrence Scarlett was born on 18 March 1920.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hugh Richard Scarlett, 7th Baron Abinger and Marjorie Ursula McPhillamy.1 He died in July 1944 at age 24, killed on active air operations service.1
     S/Ldr. Hon. Felix Hugh Lawrence Scarlett was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War. He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the service of the Royal Air Force.1 He was decorated with the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.).1
