     Mary Oliphant was born on 6 August 1701. She was the daughter of Charles Oliphant and unknown Young. She married James Lyon, 7th Earl of Strathmore, son of John Lyon, 4th Earl of Strathmore and Lady Elizabeth Stanhope, on 6 March 1731. She died on 7 September 1731 at age 30.
     Her married name became Lyon.

     Philip Stanhope, 2nd Earl of Chesterfield was born circa 1634.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Stanhope, Lord Stanhope and Catherine Wotton, Countess of Chesterfield.¹ He married, firstly, Lady Anne Percy, daughter of Algernon Percy, 10th Earl of Northumberland and Lady Anne Cecil, on 21 June 1652.¹ He married, secondly, Lady Elizabeth Butler, daughter of James Butler, 1st Duke of Ormonde and Elizabeth Preston, Baroness Dingwall, before 25 September 1660.² He married, thirdly, Lady Elizabeth Dormer, daughter of Charles Dormer, 2nd Earl of Carnarvon and Elizabeth Capell, after 1665.² He died on 28 January 1713/14 at Bloomsbury Square, London, England.² He was buried on 12 February 1713/14 at Shelford, Nottinghamshire, England.² His will (dated 17 December 1713) was probated on 21 January 1714/15.²
     Philip Stanhope, 2nd Earl of Chesterfield succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Stanhope of Shelford, co. Nottingham [E., 1616] on 12 September 1656.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Earl of Chesterfield, co. Derby [E., 1628] on 12 September 1656.¹ He held the office of Lord Chamberlain to the Queen Consort between 1662 and 1665.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in 1667 in the service of the Regiment of Foot.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.) by Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 15 July 1669.¹ He held the office of Chief Justice in Eyre, South of Trent between December 1679 and December 1685.¹ He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) from 26 January 1680/81 to February 1688/89.¹ He was Colonel of the 3rd Foot between 1682 and 1684.¹ He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) on 30 November 1708.¹

     Lady Elizabeth Butler was born on 29 June 1640 at Kilkenny, County Kilkenny, Ireland.¹ She was the daughter of James Butler, 1st Duke of Ormonde and Elizabeth Preston, Baroness Dingwall.¹ She married Philip Stanhope, 2nd Earl of Chesterfield, son of Sir Henry Stanhope, Lord Stanhope and Catherine Wotton, Countess of Chesterfield, before 25 September 1660.¹ She died in July 1665 at age 25 at Buxton, Northamptonshire, England, without surviving male issue.^1,2 She was buried on 18 July 1665 at Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, England.²
     Her married name became Stanhope. As a result of her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Butler was styled as Countess of Chesterfield.

     Patrick Lyon, 3rd Earl of Strathmore was born on 29 May 1643. He was the son of John Lyon, 2nd Earl of Kinghorne and Lady Elizabeth Maule. He married Helen Middleton, daughter of John Middleton, 1st Earl of Middleton and Grizel Durham, on 23 August 1662. He died on 15 May 1695 at age 51 at Castle Lyon.
     Patrick Lyon, 3rd Earl of Strathmore gained the title of 3rd Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne.

     Helen Middleton was the daughter of John Middleton, 1st Earl of Middleton and Grizel Durham.¹ She married Patrick Lyon, 3rd Earl of Strathmore, son of John Lyon, 2nd Earl of Kinghorne and Lady Elizabeth Maule, on 23 August 1662. She died circa May 1708.
     Her married name became Lyon.

     John Lyon, 2nd Earl of Kinghorne was born on 13 August 1596. He was the son of Patrick Lyon, 1st Earl of Kinghorne and Lady Anne Murray. He married, firstly, Lady Margaret Erskine, daughter of John Erskine, 18th/2nd Earl of Mar and Lady Mary Stewart, on 19 June 1618. He married, secondly, Lady Elizabeth Maule, daughter of Patrick Maule, 1st Earl of Panmure and Francis Stanhope, after 1644.¹ He died on 12 May 1646 at age 49.
     John Lyon, 2nd Earl of Kinghorne gained the title of 2nd Earl of Kinghorne.

     Lady Elizabeth Maule was the daughter of Patrick Maule, 1st Earl of Panmure and Francis Stanhope.^1,2 She married, firstly, John Lyon, 2nd Earl of Kinghorne, son of Patrick Lyon, 1st Earl of Kinghorne and Lady Anne Murray, after 1644.³ She married, secondly, George Livingstone, 3rd Earl of Linlithgow, son of Alexander Livingstone, 2nd Earl of Linlithgow and Lady Elizabeth Gordon, on 30 July 1650. She died circa October 1659.
     From after 1644, her married name became Lyon.³ Her married name became Livingstone.

     Patrick Maule, 1st Earl of Panmure was born on 29 May 1585.³ He was the son of Patrick Maule and Margaret Erskine.^2,3 He married Francis Stanhope, daughter of Sir Edward Stanhope, circa 1616.² He died on 22 December 1661 at age 76.²
     Patrick Maule, 1st Earl of Panmure gained the title of 1st Earl of Panmure.

     James Russell Colman was born on 12 January 1962. He is the son of Timothy James Alan Colman and Lady Mary Cecilia Bowes-Lyon.

     Matthew Geoffrey Colman was born on 10 July 1966. He is the son of Timothy James Alan Colman and Lady Mary Cecilia Bowes-Lyon.
