Vera Ruby Tyrwhitt, Baroness Berners was born on 25 December 1901.1 She was the daughter of Major Hon. Rupert Tyrwhitt and Louise Isabel Frances Wells.1 She married Harold Williams, son of William Williams, on 2 August 1927.1 She died on 20 February 1992 at age 90.1
Vera Ruby Tyrwhitt, Baroness Berners was educated at Ladies' College, Eastbourne, Sussex, England.2 She was educated at St. Agnes's School, East Grinstead, Sussex, England.2 From 2 August 1927, her married name became Williams.1 She succeeded to the title of 15th Baroness Berners [E., 1455] on 19 April 1950.1
On her death, her Barony fell into abeyance between her two daughters.1
