     Captain Francis Colebrooke Beresford-Drummond was the son of Sir Edmund Drummond and Julia Mary Sutherland.² He married Marcia Mary Ann Harriet Wilhelmina de la Poer Beresford, daughter of Major Sir George de la Poer Beresford, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Lucas, on 23 June 1875.¹ He died on 9 April 1926.¹
     Captain Francis Colebrooke Beresford-Drummond gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 7th Dragoon Guards.¹ He was baptised with the name of Francis Colebrooke Drummond.²

     Harriet Elizabeth Peirse was the daughter of Henry Peirse.¹ She married Admiral Sir John de la Poer Beresford, 1st Bt., son of George de la Poer Beresford, 1st Marquess of Waterford, on 17 August 1815.¹ She died on 28 February 1825.¹
     From 17 August 1815, her married name became Beresford.¹

     Henrietta Anne Theodosia Monson was born before 1833. She was the daughter of Rev. Hon. Thomas Monson.¹ She married Henry William de la Poer Beresford-Peirse, son of Admiral Sir John de la Poer Beresford, 1st Bt. and Harriet Elizabeth Peirse, on 2 March 1848. She died on 28 October 1921.¹
     From 2 March 1848, her married name became Beresford-Peirse.¹

     Lt.-Col. William John de la Poer Beresford-Peirse was born on 8 November 1852.¹ He was the son of Henry William de la Poer Beresford-Peirse and Henrietta Anne Theodosia Monson.¹ He married Mary Chambers, daughter of Thomas Chambers, on 22 February 1887.¹ He died on 1 September 1917 at age 64.¹
     Lt.-Col. William John de la Poer Beresford-Peirse gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Berkshire Regiment.¹

     Mary Chambers was the daughter of Thomas Chambers.¹ She married Lt.-Col. William John de la Poer Beresford-Peirse, son of Henry William de la Poer Beresford-Peirse and Henrietta Anne Theodosia Monson, on 22 February 1887.¹ She died on 27 November 1939.¹
     From 22 February 1887, her married name became Beresford-Peirse.¹

     Lt.-Gen. Sir Noel Monson de la Poer Beresford-Peirse was born on 22 December 1887.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. William John de la Poer Beresford-Peirse and Mary Chambers.¹ He married, firstly, Hazel Marjorie Cochrane, daughter of J. A. Cochrane, in 1912.¹ He and Hazel Marjorie Cochrane were divorced in 1925.¹ He married, secondly, Jean Jameson, daughter of Surg.-Capt. Robert Dundonald Jameson, on 22 December 1925.¹ He married, thirdly, Katherine Camilla Colvin, daughter of Colonel James Morris Colquhoun Colvin, V.C., on 27 July 1929.¹ He died on 14 January 1953 at age 65, without issue.¹
     Lt.-Gen. Sir Noel Monson de la Poer Beresford-Peirse was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches, and served in Mesopotamia, France and Belgium.¹ He was decorated with the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.¹ He was Instructor between 1937 and 1938 at Senior Officer's School, Belgium.¹ He was Brigadier of the Royal Artillery, Southern India Command between 1938 and 1939.¹ He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George VI between 1939 and 1940.¹ He was Brigadier of the Royal Artillery General Headquarters, Middle East in 1940.¹ He was Major-General of the 4th Indian Division between 1940 and 1941.¹ He was General Officer Commanding of the Sudan in 1941.¹ He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1941.¹ He was Commander of the Western Desert Force in 1941.¹ He was Lieutenant-General of the 15th Indian Corps in 1942.¹ He was General Officer Commanding-in-Charge of the Southern Army India between 1942 and 1945.¹ He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1943.¹ He was Welfare-General of the India Command between 1945 and 1946.¹

     Hazel Marjorie Cochrane is the daughter of J. A. Cochrane.¹ She married Lt.-Gen. Sir Noel Monson de la Poer Beresford-Peirse, son of Lt.-Col. William John de la Poer Beresford-Peirse and Mary Chambers, in 1912.¹ She and Lt.-Gen. Sir Noel Monson de la Poer Beresford-Peirse were divorced in 1925.¹
