Michael Wandesforde de la Poer Beresford-Peirse was born on 19 April 1917.1 He was the son of Arthur Cecil Proctor de la Poer Beresford-Peirse and Gertrude Ann Ormonde Wandesforde.1 He married Joyce Franklin Percival, daughter of Philip Hope Percival, on 10 June 1944.1 He died on 19 April 2003 at age 86.1
