     Wilfrid Archibald Alexander was born on 6 October 1892.1 He was the son of Sir Claud Alexander of Ballochmyle, 2nd Bt. and Lady Diana Montgomerie.2 He married Mary Prudence Acheson, daughter of Guy Francis Hamilton Acheson, on 17 November 1919.1 He died on 26 March 1927 at age 34.1
     He was with the Consular Service, China.3
