     Nicholas St. Lawrence, 3rd Baron Howth was the son of Robert St. Lawrence, 2nd Baron Howth and Alice White.2 He married, firstly, Genet Plunket, daughter of Christopher Plunket, 2nd Lord Killeen and Elizabeth Welles.3 He married, secondly, Anne Berford, daughter of Thomas Berford.3 He married, thirdly, Alice Fitzsimmons, daughter of Robert Fitzsimmons, in February 1504/5.3 He died on 10 July 1526.4
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Howth [I., c. 1440] in 1486.3 In 1488 he received a general pardon, after revealing the designs of Lambert Simmel to the English authorities.3 He was appointed Knight in 1493/94.3 He fought in the Battle of Knockdoe on 19 August 1504, where he commanded the billmen.3 His last will was dated 1 February 1504/5.3 He held the office of Lord Chancellor [Ireland] between 1509 and 1512.3

     Harriet Louisa Bulkeley was the daughter of John Matthew Bulkeley.1 She married Captain Sir Martin Henry Blackwood, 2nd Bt., son of Vice-Admiral Hon. Sir Henry Blackwood, 1st Bt. and Eliza Waghorn, on 19 August 1826.2 She died on 6 February 1873.1
     From 19 August 1826, her married name became Blackwood.1
