     David Roche, 3rd Viscount Roche of Fermoy was the son of Maurice Roche, 2nd Lord Roche of Fermoy.1 He married Catherine MacCartie, daughter of Teig Mac-Cormac MacCartie. He died in 1539, presumably murdered.1
     David Roche, 3rd Viscount Roche of Fermoy succeeded to the title of 3rd Baron Roche of Fermoy [I., 1461].1

     He was ancestor of the Roches of Kinmore, County Cork.1
