Sir John Bernard, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1746.1 He was the son of Sir Francis Bernard, 1st Bt. and Amelia Offley.1 He died on 16 August 1809 at Dominican Republic, unmarried.1

Sir Thomas Bernard, 3rd Bt. was born on 27 April 1750 at Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.1 He was the son of Sir Francis Bernard, 1st Bt. and Amelia Offley.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Adair, daughter of Patrick Adair, on 11 May 1782.1 He married, secondly, Charlotte Matilda Hulse, daughter of Sir Edward Hulse, 2nd Bt. and Hannah Vanderplank, on 15 June 1815 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.1 He died on 1 July 1818 at age 68 at Leamington, Warwickshire, England, without issue.1 He was buried on 10 July 1818 at Chapel of the Founding Hospital, London, England.1
