Sir Theophilus Biddulph, 1st Bt. was born circa 1615.1 He was the son of Michael Biddulph and Elizabeth Skeffington.1,2 He married Susanna Highlord, daughter of Zachary Highlord and Frances Garth, on 10 May 1641 at Morden, Surrey, England.2 He died circa April 1683 at Greenwich, London, England.1 He was buried on 11 April 1683 at Stow Church, Lichfield, Staffordshire, England.2 His will (dated 30 April 1681) was probated on 8 May 1683.2
Sir Theophilus Biddulph, 1st Bt. was a Silkman at Cheapside, London, England.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for London between 1656 and 1658.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for London in 1659.2 He was invested as a Knight in 1660.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lichfield between 1661 and 1679.2 He was a member of the New England Company in 1662.3 He was created 1st Baronet Biddulph, of Westcombe [Manor, in Greenwich], co.
