     Elizabeth Vere Drummond Ogilvie was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir George Drummond Ogilvie and Lorna Rome.1 She married Lt.-Col. Christopher Bromhead Birdwood, 2nd Baron Birdwood, son of Field Marshal William Riddell Birdwood, 1st Baron Birdwood and Janetta Hope Gonville Bromhead, on 7 March 1931 at Delhi, IndiaG.1 She and Lt.-Col. Christopher Bromhead Birdwood, 2nd Baron Birdwood were divorced in 1953.2 She died on 1 May 1997.3
     From 7 March 1931, her married name became Birdwood.1 After her marriage, Elizabeth Vere Drummond Ogilvie was styled as Baroness Birdwood on 17 May 1951. She was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1958.3 She was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1972.3
