     Sir Walter Calverley-Blackett, 2nd Bt. was born on 18 December 1707.² He was the son of Sir Walter Calverley, 1st Bt. and Julia Blackett.² He was baptised on 15 January 1707/8 at Otley, Yorkshire, England.² He married Elizabeth Orde, daughter of Sir William Blackett, 2nd Bt., on 29 September 1729 at Newcastle-on-Tyne, England.¹ He died on 14 February 1777 at age 69 at London, England, without surviving issue.² He was buried at Calverley, Yorkshire, England.²
     Sir Walter Calverley-Blackett, 2nd Bt. was baptised with the name of Walter Calverley.¹ He matriculated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 28 February 1723/24.² On 1729 his name was legally changed to Walter Calverley-Blackett.² He held the office of Sheriff of Northumberland from 1731 to 1732.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newcastle-upon-Tyne between 1734 and 1777.² He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Calverley, of Calverley, co. York [G.B., 1711] on 15 October 1749.²
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.²

     John Charles Blackett was born on 3 April 1813.¹ He was the son of Sir William Blackett, 5th Bt. and Anne Keene.¹ He married, firstly, Maria Berthon, daughter of Benjamin Berthon, on 22 June 1845.¹ He married, secondly, Emily Jane Cockcraft, daughter of Colonel William Wild Cockcraft, on 18 March 1852.¹ He died on 8 August 1896 at age 83.¹
     John Charles Blackett lived at Thorpe Lee, Egham, Surrey, England.¹
     He had two daughters by his first wife.¹

     Maria Berthon was the daughter of Benjamin Berthon.¹ She married John Charles Blackett, son of Sir William Blackett, 5th Bt. and Anne Keene, on 22 June 1845.¹ She died on 23 August 1847.¹
     From 22 June 1845, her married name became Blackett.¹

     Emily Jane Cockcraft was the daughter of Colonel William Wild Cockcraft.¹ She married John Charles Blackett, son of Sir William Blackett, 5th Bt. and Anne Keene, on 18 March 1852.¹ She died on 22 December 1899.¹
     From 18 March 1852, her married name became Blackett.¹

     
     Colonel William Wild Cockcraft gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 58th Regiment.¹
