     Sir Walter Calverley-Blackett, 2nd Bt. was born on 18 December 1707.2 He was the son of Sir Walter Calverley, 1st Bt. and Julia Blackett.2 He was baptised on 15 January 1707/8 at Otley, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2 He married Elizabeth Orde, daughter of Sir William Blackett, 2nd Bt., on 29 September 1729 at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, EnglandG.1 He died on 14 February 1777 at age 69 at London, EnglandG, without surviving issue.2 He was buried at Calverley, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2
     He was given the name of Walter Calverley at birth.1 He matriculated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 28 February 1723/24.2 In 1729 his name was legally changed to Walter Calverley-Blackett.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Northumberland from 1731 to 1732.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newcastle-upon-Tyne between 1734 and 1777.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Calverley, of Calverley, co. York [G.B., 1711] on 15 October 1749.2
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.2

     Anne Blackett was born circa 1752.2 She was the daughter of Sir Edward Blackett, 4th Bt. and Anne Douglas.1 She married Lt.-Gen. William Scott, son of Benjamin Scott, on 15 November 1785 at Stamfordham, Northumberland, England.1,2 She died in 1829.2
     From 15 November 1785, her married name became Scott.1

     Lt.-Gen. William Scott was born circa 1755.2 He was the son of Benjamin Scott.1 He married Anne Blackett, daughter of Sir Edward Blackett, 4th Bt. and Anne Douglas, on 15 November 1785 at Stamfordham, Northumberland, England.1,2 He died in 1836.2

     John Charles Blackett was born on 3 April 1813.1 He was the son of Sir William Blackett, 5th Bt. and Mary Anne Keene.1 He married, firstly, Maria Berthon, daughter of Benjamin Berthon, on 22 June 1845.1 He married, secondly, Emily Jane Cockcraft, daughter of Colonel William Wild Cockcraft, on 18 March 1852.1 He died on 8 August 1896 at age 83.1
     He lived at Thorpe Lee, Egham, Surrey, EnglandG.1
