Hon. Henry Charles Hiley Bathurst was born on 16 March 1904.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Bathurst, 1st Viscount Bledisloe and Hon. Bertha Susan Lopes.1 He married, firstly, Mary Myrtle Body, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Kenneth Marten Body, on 30 April 1937.1 He and Mary Myrtle Body were divorced in 1951.1 He married, secondly, Lauretta Theresa Groves, daughter of William Frederick Groves, on 3 October 1951.1 He died on 10 April 1969 at age 65, without issue.1
