     Margaret Savage Alcock was born on 3 March 1922.² She was the daughter of Captain Philip Clayton Alcock and Kathleen Robinson.^1,2 She married Charles Francis Alwyn Compton Cavendish, son of Major Alwyn Lionel Compton Cavendish and Muriel Cecil Harriott Heaton-Ellis, on 22 July 1943.¹ She and Charles Francis Alwyn Compton Cavendish were divorced in 1946.^1,3 She married, secondly, Horace Field Parshall, son of Horace Field Parshall, on 7 November 1953. They were the parents of one son and two daughters.² She died on 22 August 1961 at age 39.¹
