Charles Robert St. John was born on 21 November 1807.1 He was the son of Sir George Richard St. John, 3rd Viscount Bolingbroke and Isabella Charlotte Antoinette Sophia Hompesch, Baroness Hompesch.1 He married Jane Gibson on 20 April 1841.1 He died on 21 January 1844 at age 36, without issue.1
