     Brian Thomas Borthwick was born on 28 June 1920.1 He was the son of Hon. William Borthwick and Ruth Margery Rigby.1 He married Jennifer Ruth Fryer, daughter of Major Evelyn Ronald Moncrieff Fryer and Marjorie Violet Peel, on 15 March 1946.1 He died in January 1989 at age 68.1
