Sir John Robert Whyte Ackroyd, 2nd Bt. was born on 2 March 1932.2 He is the son of Sir Cuthbert Lowell Ackroyd, 1st Bt. and Joyce Wallce Whyte.2 He married Jennifer Eileen McLeod Bishop, daughter of Henry George Stokes Bishop, on 23 March 1956.2 He died on 30 August 1995 at age 63.2
Sir John Robert Whyte Ackroyd, 2nd Bt. was educated at Bradfield School, England.2 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Artillery.2 He fought in the campaign in Jordan between 1951 and 1952.2 He was Steward of the Oxford University Drama Society in 1954.2 He graduated from Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1955 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).2 He graduated from Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1958 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).2 He was underwriting member of Lloyd's before 1969.2 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Ackroyd, of Dewsbury, Yorkshire [U.K., 1956] on 11 April 1973.2 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal College of Music (F.R.C.M.) in 1988.2 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.) in 1989.2

Philadelphia Carey was the daughter of Hon. Thomas Carey. She married Sir Henry Lyttelton, 2nd Bt., son of Thomas Lyttelton, 1st Bt. and Catherine Crompton, before 1663.1 She died on 2 August 1663.1

Robert Carey, 1st Earl of Monmouth was born in 1560.2 He was the son of Henry Carey, 1st Baron Hunsdon of Hunsdon and Ann Morgan.1 He married Elizabeth Trevannion, daughter of Sir Hugh Trevannion and Sybilla Morgan, on 20 August 1593 at Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, England. He died on 12 April 1639.1

Charles Lyttelton was the son of Brig.-Gen. Sir Charles Lyttelton, 3rd Bt. and Anne Temple.1 He married, secondly, Anne Saunders, daughter of Thomas Saunders and Ellen Sadleir, after 1702.1 He died on 16 August 1712.1
