     Edward Irby was born on 14 May 1821.1 He was the son of Rev. Hon. Paul Anthony Irby and Patience Anne Champion de Crespigny.1 He married Mary Windeyer, daughter of Archibald Windeyer, on 3 August 1850.1 He died on 27 July 1900 at age 79.1
