     Daphne Marjory Bourke was the daughter of Hon. Algernon Henry Bourke.2 She married John Grenville Fortescue, son of John Bevill Fortescue and Dorothy Augusta Hoste, on 7 June 1917.2 She died on 22 May 1962.2
     From 7 June 1917, her married name became Fortescue.

     John Desmond Grenville Fortescue was born on 24 March 1919.1 He is the son of John Grenville Fortescue and Daphne Marjory Bourke.2 He married, firstly, Nina Kendall-Lane, daughter of Ernest Kendall-Lane, on 21 September 1942.1 He married, secondly, Angela Dorothy (?) in 1988.1
     John Desmond Grenville Fortescue usually went by his middle name of Desmond.1 He was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Coldstream Guards, Reserve of Officers.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cornwall in 1963.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cornwall in 1964.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Cornwall between 1966 and 1967.1 He lived in 2003 at The Stewardry, Boconnoc, Cornwall, England.1
