     Jane Moore was born at Dorset Street, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2 She was the daughter of Dr. John Moore and Frideswide Coddington.1 She married Very Rev. Hon. John Hewitt, son of James Hewitt, 1st Viscount Lifford and Mary Rhys Williams, in August 1779.2 She was also reported to have been married in July 1799.1 She died on 22 May 1848.1
     From July 1799, her married name became Hewitt.1
