General David Ramsbotham, Baron Ramsbotham
     General David John Ramsbotham, Baron Ramsbotham was born on 6 November 1934.2 He was the son of Rt. Rev. John Alexander Ramsbotham and Eirian Morgan Owen.2 He married Susan Caroline Dickinson, daughter of Robert Joicey Dickinson and Alice Penelope Barnett.3 He died on 13 December 2022 at age 88.4
     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)5 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)6 He was educated at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.4 He held the office of Chief Inspector of Prisons.4 He was created Baron Ramsbotham, of Kensington in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea [U.K. Life Peer] on 17 May 2005.1
