     Philippa Hope was born on 7 June 1900.² She was the daughter of Vice-Admiral Sir George Webley Hope and Arabella Phillippa Sams.^1,3 She married Brigadier Alfred Geoffrey Neville, son of Sir George Neville and Fairlie Florence Lloyd-Jones, on 1 May 1922.¹ She died in 1981.¹
      From 1 May 1922, her married name became Neville.¹

     Vice-Admiral Sir George Webley Hope was born on 11 October 1869.² He was the son of Rear-Admiral Charles Webley Hope and Ellen Evelyn Elizabeth Jordan.³ He married Arabella Phillippa Sams, daughter of John Sutton Sams, on 24 August 1899.² He died on 11 July 1959 at age 89.²

(U.S.).² He was decorated with the award of the Order of St. Maurice and St. Lazarus of Italy.² He was decorated with the award of the Order of the Rising Sun of Japan.² He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1918.² He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1919.² He was commander of the 3rd Light Cruiser Squadron between 1919 and 1921.² He gained the rank of Admiral.² He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1923.² He was President and Flag Officer between 1923 and 1926 at Royal Naval College, Greenwich, London, England.²

     Caroline Philippa Neville was born on 25 July 1935.¹ She is the daughter of Brigadier Alfred Geoffrey Neville and Philippa Hope.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Gerard Robert Henry Sigismund Newman, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Cecil Gustavus Jacques Newman 2nd Bt. and Joan Florence Mary Verulam, on 15 December 1960.¹ She married, secondly, Andrew F. B. Crawshaw on 17 July 1996.¹
      From 15 December 1960, her married name became Newman.¹ From 17 July 1996, her married name became Crawshaw.¹ She lived in 2003 at The Manor House, Fowlmere, Hertfordshire, England.¹ She lived in 2003 at Bevedere, La Haule, St. Brelade, Jersey, Channel Islands.¹

     Sir Gerard Robert Henry Sigismund Newman, 3rd Bt. was born on 19 July 1927.² He is the son of Sir Cecil Gustavus Jacques Newman 2nd Bt. and Joan Florence Mary Verulam.³ He married Caroline Philippa Neville, daughter of Brigadier Alfred Geoffrey Neville and Philippa Hope, on 15 December 1960.¹ He died in 1987.²
     He was dir Rom River Co, chairman Galloway Gp, High Sheriff –82 Herts 1981.² He lived at Cecil Lodge, Newmarket, Suffolk, England.¹ He gained the title of 3rd Baronet Newman. He graduated in 1951 with a Eton and Jesus College Oxford Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) ).²

     Andrew F. B. Crawshaw married Caroline Philippa Neville, daughter of Brigadier Alfred Geoffrey Neville and Philippa Hope, on 17 July 1996.¹

     Bertram Neville-Grenville was born on 20 January 1880.¹ He was the son of Louis Neville-Grenville and Ada Isabel Rouse.¹ He married Gertrude Thompson, daughter of Matthew Thompson, on 11 October 1919.¹ He died on 5 April 1950 at age 70.¹
