     Captain Robert Campbell was born on 10 February 1726.1 He was the son of Colin Campbell of Glenfalloch and Agnes Campbell.1 He married Jean Sinclair, daughter of Sir James Sinclair of Dunbeath, 1st Bt..1 He died in 1782.1
     Captain Robert Campbell gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 99th Regiment.1 He lived at Jamaica.1
