     Sir William Sinclair of Dunbeath was the son of Alexander Sinclair of Latheron and Jean Cunningham.2 He married Elizabeth Sinclair, daughter of Sir James Sinclair of Mey, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Leslie, in 1656.2 He died in 1690.2
