Dora Pennefather was born circa 1825.1 She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Edward Pennefather and Susan Darby.1 She married James Thomas Stopford, 4th Earl of Courtown, son of James George Stopford, 3rd Earl of Courtown and Lady Mary Scott, on 29 October 1850 at St. Peter's Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 She died on 10 December 1859 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1
From 29 October 1850, her married name became Stopford. As a result of her marriage, Dora Pennefather was styled as Countess of Courtown on 29 October 1850.

William Jared Parnell, 7th Baron Congleton was born on 8 August 1925.1 He was the son of John Brooke Molesworth Parnell, 6th Baron Congleton and Hon. Edith Mary Palmer Howard.2 He died on 12 October 1967 at age 42, as result of a motor accident.1
He succeeded to the title of 10th Baronet Parnell, of Rathleague, Queen's Co. [I., 1766] on 21 December 1932.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baron Congleton, of Congleton, co. Chester [U.K., 1841] on 21 December 1932.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy (Emergency List).1
