     Captain John Gilbert Kennedy was born on 1 May 1854.1 He was the son of Lord Gilbert Kennedy and Margaret Baird.1 He married Henrietta Maria Louise Achenbach, daughter of Oswald Achenbach, on 11 April 1882.1 He died on 1 July 1923 at age 69.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 11th Royal Prissuan Hussars.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902, where he won two medals and five clasps.1

Henry Parnell, 4th Baron Congleton and Elizabeth Peter Dove.2 She married Captain William Gilbert Howard, son of Alfred John Howard and Mary Alice Kennedy, on 19 December 1912.1 She died on 28 December 1968 at age 79.2
     Her married name became Howard. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Sussex.2

     Maj.-Gen. Henry Parnell, 4th Baron Congleton was born on 10 July 1839.1 He was the son of Henry William Parnell, 3rd Baron Congleton and Sophia Bligh.2 He married Elizabeth Peter Dove, daughter of Dugald Dove, on 17 June 1885.1 He died on 12 November 1906 at age 67.1
     He fought in the Crimean War, after the fall of Sebastopol.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to General Officer Commanding Windward and Leeward Islands between 1864 and 1866.1 He was commander of the 2nd Battalion, The Buffs.1 He fought in the Zulu War, including the Battle of Inyezane and occupation of Ekowe.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1879.1 He gained the rank of Major-General.1 He was Commandant of the Straits Settlements between 1880 and 1882.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Parnell, of Rathleague, Queen's Co. [I., 1766] on 10 October 1890.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Congleton, of Congleton, co. Chester [U.K., 1841] on 10 October 1890.1 He was Commandant of the Infantry Brigade, Malta between 1895 and 1902.1

Jean Margaret Parnell, daughter of John Brooke Molesworth Parnell, 6th Baron Congleton and Hon. Edith Mary Palmer Howard, on 29 November 1952.1 He died on 6 May 2000 at age 85 at Mull, Argyllshire, Scotland.2
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1936 and bar.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 3rd King's Own Hussars.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1946.1 He lived at Isle of Ulva, Aros, Mull, Argyllshire, ScotlandG.1

     John Brooke Molesworth Parnell, 6th Baron Congleton was born on 16 May 1892.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Henry Parnell, 4th Baron Congleton and Elizabeth Peter Dove.2 He married Hon. Edith Mary Palmer Howard, daughter of Robert Jared Bliss Howard and Margaret Charlotte Smith, Baroness Strathcona and Mount Royal, on 6 April 1918.1 He died on 21 December 1932 at age 40.1
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy (Emergency List.)1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Congleton, of Congleton, co. Chester [U.K., 1841] on 10 November 1914.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Parnell, of Rathleague, Queen's Co.
