     Hervey Morres, 1st Viscount Mountmorres was born circa 1706.2 He was the son of Frances Morres and Catherine Evans.2 He married, firstly, Lady Letitia Ponsonby, daughter of Brabazon Ponsonby, 1st Earl of Bessborough and Sarah Margetson, on 3 November 1742.3 He married, secondly, Mary Wall, daughter of William Wall, in July 1755.1 He died on 6 April 1766.3
     Hervey Morres, 1st Viscount Mountmorres was created 1st Baron Mountmorres, of Castlemorres, co. Kilkenny [Ireland] on 4 May 1756.1 He was created 1st Viscount Mountmorres [Ireland] on 29 June 1763.1 He had one other daughter by his first wife.1
