     Hervey Morres, 1st Viscount Mountmorres was born circa 1706.2 He was the son of Francis Morres and Catherine Evans.2 He married, firstly, Lady Letitia Ponsonby, daughter of Brabazon Ponsonby, 1st Earl of Bessborough and Sarah Margetson, on 3 November 1742.3 He married, secondly, Mary Wall, daughter of William Wall and Hon. Mary Ponsonby, in July 1755.1 He died on 6 April 1766.3
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Irishtown between 1734 and 1756, (alias Canice.)4 He held the office of Mayor of Kilkenny from 1752 to 1753.4 He was created 1st Baron Mountmorres, of Castlemorres, co. Kilkenny [Ireland] on 4 May 1756.1 He was created 1st Viscount Mountmorres [Ireland] on 29 June 1763.1

     Peter Lyon, 6th of Cossins was the son of Thomas Lyon, 5th of Cossins and Jean Young.2 He married Margaret Ogilvy, daughter of Sir John Ogilvy of Inverquharity, 1st Bt. and Anne Irvine.1 He died in 1663.2
     He was Commissioner of War, Forfarshire in 1648.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Forfarshire in 1663.2
