     He was Chaplain to the Bishop of Gloucester in 1923.1 He was the Chaplain between 1924 and 1926 at St. George's Church, Jerusalem, Israel.1 He was Chaplain to the Bishop of Gloucester between 1930 and 1937.1 He was the Chaplain between 1937 and 1941 at Grosvenor Chapel, St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1 He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the service of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1
