     Charles Franklin Fish was born between 1859 and 1862 at Westport, Connecticut, U.S.A..1 He is the son of John R. Fish and Sarah S. Hammond.1 He married Mary Adelaide Adams, daughter of Josiah Chester Adams and Diana McCoy, on 8 April 1885 at Norfolk Island.1
     He arrived on Norfolk in 1885 as a seaman. They left the island in 1889 under undisclosed circumstances.1 He was a whaleman.1
