Major William Watson Anderson Crellin was born at Orrisdale, Isle of Man.1 He was the son of John Christian Crellin and Sophie Anderson.1 He married Valerie La Mothe, daughter of Deemster F. La Mothe, on 1 November 1916.1 He died on 8 October 1918, killed in action.1
Major William Watson Anderson Crellin was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.) (and bar).1 He fought in the First World War. He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Sherwood Forresters.1 Acting Lieutenant-Colonel.1
