     John Osborne Lucas Christian is the son of John Osborne Christian and Susannah Catherine Lucas.1 He married Dorothy Aphra Marguerite Wolfe, daughter of William Wolfe, on 26 February 1918.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Sergeant in the 5th Irish Horse.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1918 in the 1st Reserve Regiment of Lancers.1
