     Rodney John Derek Blois was born on 12 November 1941.1 He is the son of Sir Gervase Ralph Edmund Blois, 10th Bt. and Audrey Winifred Johnson.1 He married Lady Elizabeth Caroline Elinor Evelyn Giffard, daughter of John Anthony Hardinge Giffard, 3rd Earl of Halsbury and Elizabeth Adeline Faith Godley, on 2 November 1968.1 He and Lady Elizabeth Caroline Elinor Evelyn Giffard were divorced in 1992.1
     Rodney John Derek Blois was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 In 1968 he inherited his father's estate of Cockfield Hall, in Yoxford, Suffolk, but only on the condition that he moved in and maintained the property. He did this until 1995, when he put the property on hte market for £950,000.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1989.1 He lived in 2003 at Hill Farm, Yoxford, Suffolk, England.1

     Christian Frances Blois was born on 21 October 1902.1 She was the daughter of Sir Ralph Barrrett MacNaghten Blois, 9th Bt. and Winifred Grace Kennard.1 She married, firstly, Edward Archiblad Fraser Harding, son of Colonel Edward Harding and Nina Maud Ryves, on 18 January 1928.1 She and Edward Archiblad Fraser Harding were divorced in 1940.1 She married, secondly, Major Geoffrey Henry Cecil Bing, son of Geoffrey Bing, in April 1940.1 She and Major Geoffrey Henry Cecil Bing were divorced in 1955.1 She died on 18 September 1998 at age 95.1
     From 18 January 1928, her married name became Harding.1 From April 1940, her married name became Bing.1
