Sir Ralph Barrrett MacNaghten Blois, 9th Bt. was born on 21 November 1866 at Cockfield Hall, Suffolk, England.2,3 He was the son of Sir John Ralph Blois, 8th Bt. and Eliza Ellen Chapman.1 He married Winifred Grace Kennard, daughter of Edmund Hegan Kennard and Agnes Hegan, on 30 April 1898 at Christ Church, Mayfair, London, England.2,4 He died on 18 March 1950 at age 83.2
Sir Ralph Barrrett MacNaghten Blois, 9th Bt. was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England.3 He succeeded to the title of 9th Baronet Blois, of Grundisburgh and Cockfield Hall, co. Suffolk [E., 1686] on 31 December 1888.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Scots Guards.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Suffolk.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1900 in the service of the Royal Guards Reserve Regiment.4 He held the office of High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1905.2
