     Eliza Ellen Chapman was the daughter of Captain Alfred Chapman.1 She married Sir John Ralph Blois, 8th Bt., son of Commander John Ralph Blois and Eliza Knox Barrett, on 25 January 1865 at St. Michael's, Chester Square, London, EnglandG.2 She died on 23 October 1924.1
     From 25 January 1865, her married name became Blois.1

     Sir Ralph Barrrett MacNaghten Blois, 9th Bt. was born on 21 November 1866 at Cockfield Hall, Suffolk, EnglandG.2,3 He was the son of Sir John Ralph Blois, 8th Bt. and Eliza Ellen Chapman.1 He married Winifred Grace Kennard, daughter of Edmund Hegan Kennard and Agnes Hegan, on 30 April 1898 at Christ Church, Mayfair, London, EnglandG.2,4 He died on 18 March 1950 at age 83.2
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Blois, of Grundisburgh and Cockfield Hall, co. Suffolk [E., 1686] on 31 December 1888.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Scots Guards.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Suffolk.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1900 in the Royal Guards Reserve Regiment.4 He held the office of High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1905.2

     Major Eardley Steuart Brooke was born on 3 July 1869.1 He was the son of Sir John Ralph Blois, 8th Bt. and Eliza Ellen Chapman.1 He married Violet Mary Magdalene Sproat, daughter of Major Thomas Sproat, on 6 July 1916.1 He died on 13 December 1955 at age 86.1
     He was given the name of Eardley Steuart Blois at birth.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the 1st Company, London Yeomanry.1 On 23 February 1931 his name was legally changed to Eardley Steuart Brooke by Royal Licence.1
