     Lawrence Woodyeare Blomefield was born on 8 October 1870.1 He was the son of Reverend John Blomefield and Sophia Elizabeth Preston.1 He married Celia Nora Caldwell, daughter of Alexander Benjamin Caldwell, on 1 June 1899.1 He died on 2 December 1956 at age 86.1
     Lawrence Woodyeare Blomefield gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 3rd Battalion, Yorkshire Light Infantry.1

     Celia Nora Caldwell was the daughter of Alexander Benjamin Caldwell.1 She married Lawrence Woodyeare Blomefield, son of Reverend John Blomefield and Sophia Elizabeth Preston, on 1 June 1899.1 She died on 5 October 1961.1
     From 1 June 1899, her married name became Blomefield.1
