     Reverend John Blomefield was born on 27 October 1824.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas William Blomefield, 2nd Bt. and Salome Kekewich.1 He married Sophia Elizabeth Preston, daughter of Reverend John D'Arcy Jervis Preston, on 3 April 1850.1 He died on 22 February 1908 at age 83.1
     Reverend John Blomefield graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was the Rector between 1884 and 1907 at Pleasley, Derbyshire, England.1
