     Austin Buffett Christian was born on 2 March 1875 at Norfolk Island.1 He was the son of Ephraim Christian and Pauline Adams.1 He married Elisabeth McCoy, daughter of Philip McCoy and Lucy Ann Hagar Christian, on 25 June 1896 at Norfolk Island.1 He married Alice Catherine Evans, daughter of Alice Clara Evans, in 1926.1 He died on 10 May 1963 at age 88.1
