     George Blount was the son of Sir George Blount, 2nd Bt. and Mary Kirkham.1 He married, firstly, Lady Mary O'Brien, daughter of Barnabas O'Brien, 5th Earl of Thomond.1 He married, secondly, Constantia Cary, daughter of Sir George Cary.1 He died on 20 May 1702.1

     John Adams was born on 10 November 1827 at Pitcairn Island.1 He was the son of George Adams and Polly Young.1 He married Caroline Quintal, daughter of Arthur Quintal and Catherine McCoy, on 16 April 1843 at Pitcairn Island.1 He died on 29 May 1897 at age 69 at Norfolk Island.1
     In 1849 when Buffett returned to Pitcairn, John piloted the longboat for the first time.1 He was Councillor of Norfolk Island in 1858. He was Councillor of Norfolk Island in 1870.

     Caroline Quintal was born on 21 July 1827 at Pitcairn Island.1 She was the daughter of Arthur Quintal and Catherine McCoy.1 She married John Adams, son of George Adams and Polly Young, on 16 April 1843 at Pitcairn Island.1 She died on 13 June 1869 at age 41 at Norfolk Island.1
     From 16 April 1843, her married name became Adams.1
